The City of Colome is staying extra cautious about fire safety, even though Tripp County has temporarily lifted the burn ban. According to Ordinance 2025-4, it looks like the Fire Chief and the Mayor have decided to keep the local ban in effect for now. This could be because the weather conditions in Colome might still pose a risk, like strong winds, dry vegetation, or any other local factors that make burning dangerous.

❄️ Snow is on the Way ❄️ A friendly reminder per Ordinance 181: No parking is allowed on any public street once 3 inches or more of snow has accumulated. This applies to both sides of the street, regardless of its direction, and remains in effect during any active snow plowing alert. Thank you all for your cooperation in helping keep our streets safe and clear!
